Ms. Fatima Shahzad is Head of International & FI Risk at United Bank Limited. She is a credit risk professional with over 15 years of risk experience in Corporate, FI, Overseas (UAE, Yemen, Qatar & Bahrain), Remedial Management and Islamic Credit.
Syed Ahmad Zaidi is a financial services leader with more than three decades of experience in Pakistan's capital markets and in international brokerage. He led companies as C.E.O and C.O.O and worked for firms Foundation Securities (Fauji Foundation Group), Elixir Securities, Indosuez WI Carr Securities (Crédit Agricole) and ABN Amro Equities Pakistan.
As an Independent Director, he brings capital markets knowledge, turnaround and growth leadership, a strong focus on digital products, and a disciplined approach to risk and governance.
Mr. Zaidi is regularly invited to speak on capital markets and financial management at conferences and seminars. He has presented at leading business schools and at international conferences in Cambridge, Singapore and Karachi. He is visitig faculty at leading business schools in Karachi, Pakistan and sits on the Corporate Advisory Board of Iqra University.
He holds an MBA in Finance and a Certified Stock Broker from Institute of Financial Markets of Pakistan.
Mr. Hadi has over 14 years of work experience in the field of Compliance, Risk Management and Internal Audit at the strategic and operational levels. Prior to his joining UBL Fund Managers, he was associated with Arif Habib Investments for over 5 years in Internal Audit and Compliance function. Hadi is a Certified Director from Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance (PICG) and is a Certified Anti Money Laundering Professional (CAMLP) from Institute of Financial Markets of Pakistan (IFMP). He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Karachi University in Commerce and certificate from Institute of Business Administration with specialization in Banking and Finance.
